Sandy is a relaxed, calm girl with a gentle nature. She is friendly and loves her humans. UPDATE: Sandy is a very curious, loving girl and a true “Velcro dog” who wants to be close to her people. As an adoptable greyhound, she is also easygoing about routine grooming—Sandy does not mind nail trims or having her teeth brushed with a finger brush. She walks pretty well on a leash in ordinary circumstances, but she has a very high prey drive. Squirrels and other small animals can make her intensely focused, and she may not respond to commands once one is in sight. Sandy is a devoted, affectionate companion who will thrive with those who enjoy a close canine shadow and can offer her a safe, cat-free, small animal-free home.
