Beyond the Battle Museum, Adams County Historical Society
This is a first for GiG! The brand-new Beyond the Battle Museum has invited us to join them for a talk and tour. We have visited this museum, and for those of you who have interests beyond the Civil War, this will be for you. It's a gorgeous place, and the stories are riveting, especially the "Civil War Experience Room." It gives you a close-up and personal view of an in-town battle. It's frightening, exciting, and informative all at the same time...not to be missed. The talk will be approximately 45 minutes and will be outside, so please bring a chair and dog blanket, but note that dogs will not be permitted inside the museum. GiG registrants (with a bracelet) can purchase tickets for the museum at a group discounted rate of $12/person, but you must show your event bracelet to get that rate.
Note: No Bracelet Needed to Attend the Talk, only to buy museum tickets.
Location: Beyond the Battle Museum 625 Biglerville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325

Thank you for all your support, greyt friends! Working together, we raised $15,000 for our greyhounds this year.
Your gifts will help injured/ disadvantaged greyhounds through our new fund, "Elaine's North Star Fund," in honor of our late founder, Elaine (Skidel) Oleksa.

YOU ROCK, and so does the Centre Foundation!!
All our greyhounds and volunteers THANK ROOOOOO!

Thank You!
We are home, unpacked, and resting. But I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who supported us through GiG this year. It was one hurdle after another, but we made it work with our fantastic team of board members and volunteers!
We genuinely appreciate your support because, ultimately, YOU are the reason we are successful. We don't take your support for granted; we try to provide the most fun possible and keep everyone safe. We received many extra donations, which will help with our vast, unexpected costs. That helped A LOT!
We will have a GiG 26, which will most likely be in the Gettysburg area. We are working on everything and will announce our "new" plans once they are in place. The DATES WILL BE TENTATIVELY APRIL 23-26. Again, it's our typical weekend, but the exact dates and location are yet to be determined. We will let you know.
Thank you again for your support! We are looking forward to a refreshed and exciting GiG '26!
- TONI.
